Posted on September 14, 2012 at 4:10 PM Comments comments (0)

Well I'm back after a long absence from the site and it is good to be back, Mabon a festival of thanksgiving to all is nearly here upon us, I'm excited to celebrate and give thanks to what I have, I will post some pics and videos on altar ideas and crafts, the second harvest is a special time, one of mystery and magic for many, an excellent story to tell the kids or to read yourself is that of Mabon ap Mordon, which is the reason (along with others ;)) for the season, so may you all be blessed and have an amazing sabbat celebration! Blessed Be.

My First Lughnassadh

Posted on July 24, 2012 at 3:45 PM Comments comments (0)

Well August 1st is my first lughnassadh celebration and I am super pumped about it! I've bought my own cloth to make my altar cloth for my ritual, im picking out some harvest foods and making corn bread, I am completly enthustiastic about everything! The First Harvest is a celebration of the first grains and foods harvested around this time of year, and to give thanks to the bounty, in my research this kind of celebration was done in many cultures and in their own ways, so I personally felt like doing so as well! So to all those who are out there having fun and going to celebrate Lughnassadh, then blessed be and have an awesome day! To all those who aren't then may you also be blessed and have a wonderful day too!

Divinity and I...

Often when I am sad or feel upset I walk outside or if its raining look out the window and think about the small things and the blessings all of them reveal, I personally do not need a grand showing of marvelous miracles to let me believe in the divine or show me they are present, I see that in the childlike smile of my babysister or the way the light of the sun dances on the trees out front. So next time you are sad or upset about something take a moment to look at the faces of diety everywhere around you! It sure helps me.... ;)

Happy Litha!!!

Well my Litha celebration is going well, I just finished my ritual outside, took a nap, and then meditated for a bit! So Blessed Be to all and have a very merry Litha!!! I bought some wonderful incense (peach is my fav!) and now i have my cauldron! WOOT! My mother gave it to me, its made of brass and its feet are little leafs, it awesome! So happy, this was my first ritual for a sabbat, and I think I did okay! Anyways merry meet, and merry part, and merry meet again! Now go have fun! :D

So I think it takes too long to reasearch all that someone should resaech when starting their path so instead I will creat an Wiccan Lore database here on the web! Enjoy and Blessed Be!!!!! :D

So I know alot of those on the Path have come across a block to find a good artist that has mainly Wiccan or Celtic music, so I will post some tid bits of music here and there and give the artists name and name of the song... Blessed Be!!! :D

Health and Happiness

Posted on June 16, 2012 at 4:20 PM Comments comments (0)

Many people don't realize the significance of your health in the Path, the Goddess and God want you to live happily and healthy to better take pleasure of all they have provided for us on Earth, but sometimes that is easier said than done, but I feel I am myself making a small effort everyday, just by walking around outside under the trees and drinking plenty of water, or fishing with my family and having a fruit or yogurt for a snack, all I'm saying is that we can worry about helping the planet all we want, but if we don't take care of ourselves then there won't be an "us" to help the planet or humanity... just a thought! Blessed Be!!! :)

Magic or Magick?

Posted on June 15, 2012 at 8:00 PM Comments comments (0)

I know some people make a big deal on how they spell Magic(k), but I think for myself I will leave it wit magic, other than spelling it sounds the same and if you are only spelling it differently to make a disticition, well most people will only hear the word "magic" and still think of magicians, ect. unless you spell it out for them it's useless... but I feel that everyone should do as they please and have a happy day! :D I was just randomly thinking!!! :)

So most Wiccans know that a cauldron is symbolic of many things, but particularly that of the Goddess, well I just found out myself that the reason bhind that is due to countless myths and legends attributing a cauldron to feminine power and lively hood, it was what mothers used tto make food stuffs, a link to the otherworld, a scrying tool, ect. So it is always cool to learn some of the diverse symbolism of a singular symbol, item, object, ect. So take the time to learn new things and you just might surprise yourself!!! <3

The Many Uses of Cauldrons

Posted on June 15, 2012 at 7:25 PM Comments comments (0)

Many of us know what an assset a cauldron can be in the Path of Wicca, but for some of us who like to collect cauldrons, besoms, ect. we tend to not use half of what we have, but I have found that if you are open about your Path then you can use them as decorations! During the months of the Light ring your cauldron, besoms, ect. with flowers and colorful ribbons! During the months of the Dark put a candle inside of the cauldron, string lights through your besom and so forth, if you have kids let them help to decorate! Decorating using your various tools can help keep that spiritual magic alive! :D

I know there are many different ways to pronounce words associated with Wicca, such as Sabbat which Iv'e heard it pronounced (SAV-vate), (SAV-vot),(SAB-bat), (SOB-bot), (SAB-bot), the pronounciations are endless and for one single word! So when someone asks me or when I ask someone else "How do you pronounce this", I always remember and say "It doesn't matter how you say it as long as you know the meaning and intention behind it!" So don't down yourself because you might not "say" it right or wrong, be happy and you will say what needs to be said! lol :)

Then again there are some words that are important to say right to some, one word which I had up until recently been saying wrong was Samhain, I had pronounced it (SAM-hay-N) but it is actually pronounced (SAM-win) or (SA-win), so just a little tid bit of how I too even miss up! lol :D

Litha Sabbat Panic

Posted on June 14, 2012 at 8:00 PM Comments comments (0)

So the Litha Sabbat is coming up in a couple of days, and I am completly excited! This is my first Sabbat that I will be able to celebrate! YEAH!!! I have everything I need except for a cauldron and appropriate incense... So here is my problem, I have no idea where to find either, and I wouldn't mind making my own incense except I dont have a mortar and pestle.... hmmmm I'm sure everything will go okay though! I feel absolutly positive and vibrant about the upcoming Litha Sabbat! Of course because I am a Eclectic/Solitary Wicca I will celebrate by myself, but that is just by spiritual choice, maybe next year I will try an open circle, but I like to right now keep it personal between me and the God and Goddess! :D
